Athens, 8 January 2015
The Foreign Press Association of Greece expresses its abhorrence and condemnation over the cold-blooded murder of twelve people at the Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris on January 7. Nine of the victims were journalists.
The attack on the publication is an attack on the liberty of the Press and democratic principles of free speech and can find no justification in religion or ideology.
The Foreign Press Association of Greece extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the French press community.
