Ως Ένωση Ανταποκριτών Ξένου Τύπου καταδικάζουμε τη δημοσίευση φωτογραφιών από την έκτακτη πρόβα της τελετής αφής των Χειμερινών Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων Μιλάνο–Κορτίνα 2026 από το Αθηναϊκό–Μακεδονικό Πρακτορείο Ειδήσεων (ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ).
Τα πρακτορεία ξένου τύπου σεβάστηκαν πλήρως τις οδηγίες της Ελληνικής Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής (ΕΟΕ) και της Διεθνούς Ολυμπιακής Επιτροπής (ΔΟΕ) και δεν δημοσίευσαν εικόνες ή πλάνα από την αφή της Ολυμπιακής Φλόγας, τηρώντας το σχετικό εμπάργκο έως την Τετάρτη 26/11/2025, ημερομηνία κατά την οποία θα πραγματοποιούταν η επίσημη δημοσιοποίηση.
Η ενέργεια του ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ απαξιώνει τη δουλειά των ξένων πρακτορείων στην Ελλάδα και υπονομεύει το κλίμα συνεργασίας με την ΕΟΕ και τη ΔΟΕ.
Μετά από τις άμεσες καταγγελίες των μελών μας, η ΕΟΕ και η ΔΟΕ αποφάσισαν να απαγορεύσουν από σήμερα στον φωτογράφο του ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ την πρόσβαση τόσο στη γενική πρόβα όσο και στην αυριανή τελετή.

The Foreign Press Association of Greece condemns the publication of photographs from the unofficial rehearsal of the lighting ceremony for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics by the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA).
The foreign press agencies fully complied with the Hellenic Olympic Committee (EOC) and the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) instructions and refrained from publishing any images or footage of the lighting of the Olympic Flame, observing the relevant embargo until Wednesday, November 26, 2025, which is the official release date.
The AMNA’s actions undermine the work of foreign press agencies in Greece and the spirit of good cooperation with the HOC and the IOC.
Following the immediate reaction of our board members, the HOC and the IOC have decided to ban the AMNA photographer from attending both the official dress rehearsal and tomorrow’s ceremony.
